EMDR | Eye Movement

Desensitization

& reprocessing

EMDR is an evidence‑based approach that helps your brain reprocess distressing memories in a way that reduces their emotional charge.

This process involves understanding your personal history, building practical coping strategies, and using bilateral stimulation (eye movements, tapping) to shift how experiences live in your mind and body.

Rather than talking through trauma in detail, EMDR helps to unlock the nervous system, allowing your brain to reprocess and heal through its natural mechanisms.

Music Therapy

As a board-certified music therapist, I understand that some experiences don’t fit neatly into words. Music can provide a safe space to explore what feels hard to say — helping you connect with your emotions, memories, and experiences in a deeper way.

Through evidence-based approaches such as songwriting, lyric discussion, instrument playing, receptive listening, and music-guided relaxations, music therapy gives you another pathway to express yourself, process what you’ve been carrying, and move towards healing in a way that feels personal and grounded.
