The Heart Behind
Crescendo
Counseling
Brenna Fino, MA, MT-BC, LPC
Hi, I’m Brenna. I’m a psychotherapist who cares deeply about connecting with people in a genuine, meaningful way. I feel honored to walk alongside others as they move toward greater peace, clarity, and confidence. Authenticity is central to my work; I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space shaped by curiosity, humor, and patience.
I often describe myself as a therapist who enjoys doing "the deep work." I believe our experiences shape us in powerful ways, and it's important to acknowledge and process the emotions, beliefs, and patterns they leave behind. In our work together, there will be room for both emotional processing and practical skill‑building, creating a balance that supports insight, emotional release, and lasting change.
I believe healing happens when we feel connected and truly understood. As your therapist, I will walk beside you as a steady guide, supporter, and cheerleader as we navigate life’s challenges and joys together. If you're striving for a deeper understanding of yourself and are open to creating meaningful change, you're in the right place.
The Story Behind My Work
I was called to the field due to my love of music and helping people. I took a leap of faith in 2019 and moved from Rochester, NY to Pennsylvania for my music therapy graduate program. Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of working in hospice care, residential drug & alcohol treatment, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs before landing in individual outpatient care. Each setting taught me something new, and I am grateful for the unique lessons learned and incredible people I’ve met along the way.
My extensive experience along the continuum of care allows me to approach clients with a deep understanding of how symptoms show up in different environments and stages of life. This background helps me recognize patterns quickly and tailor treatment to what each person truly needs, whether that’s EMDR, music therapy, or traditional talk therapy.
My passion for the field remains the same today as it was on day one of graduate school. I put my heart into my work with clients and am continuously driven to learn more and become a better therapist. I will always strive to be someone who is easy to talk to, committed to understanding your story, and an unwavering support who can hold space for whatever you bring into the room.
